  • What do we mean by culture?

In this survey we talk about cultural activities and creativity. A cultural activity could include going to the theatre, a museum, gallery or exhibition, attending a gig or a music performance, visiting a heritage venue, or going to an event or festival which involves music, performance or art.

You might attend a cultural activity as a member of the audience, or you could be a participant where you take part in a dance class or an art workshop. You might also be an artist yourself, or someone who works for a cultural organisation or in the creative industries.

We’re interested to hear from everyone, even if you don’t attend or participate in cultural activities at all. This will help us understand a broad perspective of voices from everyone who calls Exeter home.
