Every year Exeter City Council must agree a budget which balances the money we spend on services, with the money we have.
This means that the money we spend must balance with what we receive from Council Tax, Business Rates, government grants and income from our chargeable services.
We are expecting an increase in the grants we receive from central Government for 26/27 due to a new national Fair Funding Formula. This means we expect to be able to put forward a balanced budget for next year without having to consider cutting or reducing services.
So, this year we’d like to understand what your priorities are in relation to of the Council’s Corporate Plan priorities:
Local Economy
People
Homes
Sustainable Environment
A Well-run Council
Your feedback helps councillors make decisions on short-term and longer-term spending plans
